TWILIGHT GOLF - THURSDAYS

How about a relaxing game with colleagues or friends in the cool of the afternoon? Then the stunning fairways of Mount Golf will be a perfect way to spend your Thursdays during summer.

Each year we offer a twilight summer of golf: A 9 hole round of golf specially configured, so it's interesting to play and all at very reasonable price for both members and non members.

Visitors only pay $16.00 for 9 holes which includes competition entry.

There are excellent prizes to be won thanks to Farmer Haval & Great Wall, and after the game, there's the chance to relax and enjoy an outstanding meal in the cafe, or a nice cold beverage out on the Deck.

Mount Maunganui Golf Club

Mount Golf Club is situated in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. Mt Maunganui is New Zealand's favourite summer holiday destination with a white sandy beach, and a safe sheltered inner harbour beach. Mount Maunganui (The Mount or Mauao) is also the name of the extinct volcano which rises above the town. Shrouded in history and legend, the mountain is a dominant feature of the landscape, and a climb to the summit offers amazing views of the surrounding city and ocean.

Course Features

The Mount Golf course offers a challenge to all levels of golf and is aesthetically pleasing to play. After your game there is an opportunity to relax with a drink and enjoy, have a snack or meal from our cafe in the superbly designed clubhouse which gives a 180 degree view of the course from all lounges.

Take advantage of a course that has hosted many top amateur and professional events, which has included during the 1970's and 1980's PGA sanctioned tour events, 2002 Asia Pacific Championship and more recently the 2012 New Zealand Men's and Women's Amateurs
