Ladies Beginners Program
Ladies, we're here to help you learn to play golf at the Onewhero Golf Club.
There will be opportunities for ladies to come down every week on Wednesday afternoon to share the experience of learning a new game. If you haven't played for a while, it's a great opportunity to get back into the game! Bring your friends and family or come along to meet new friends.
Afterwards, join us for a drink.

Onewhero Golf Club
Only 10 minutes from Mercer on SH1 and 40 minutes south of Auckland, the Onewhero Golf Club lies in a rural setting just south of Pukekawa. The mature 18 hole course is tree-lined and always well-groomed, with challenging water holes.
Visitors have often stated that this is one of the most well-kept courses in Auckland. The volcanic free-draining terrain ensures that the course is truly playable all year and is rarely closed.
The staff and members are inviting and friendly, providing a pleasant relaxed atmosphere that will ensure you always enjoy a warm welcome - we always go that extra step to provide golf and clubhouse services that will ensure your visit is an enjoyable one.
Visitors can expect very reasonable green fee rates with tee times being available on most days of the week. New members are always welcome.
A course upgrading project was completed around 4 years ago, offering a quality layout with well-grassed fairways and true even-paced greens that are kept in excellent condition.
The course can be hard if you stray off the fairway and ensures golfers are presented with a solid but fair challenge due to trees, water hazards, lateral hazards and out of bounds areas. Nine greens have bunkers guarding them. The 12th hole, a lengthy par 5, is one of the many fine choices for a signature hole at Onewhero Golf Club.
The many tree-lined fairways and areas of native bush add to the beauty of the course and an abundance of native birdlife (such as fantails) will also keep you entertained as you play.
Hire equipment and carts are available from our well stocked pro shop open 7 days a week.
You can enjoy a drink and a meal in the two-story clubhouse which overlooks the picturesque 18th green and beyond, with catering and bar facilities- open on club and tournament days, weekends, public holidays and by arrangement with the Club.
Also available are practice nets, practice hole, putting green, with equipment and carts for hire.
