Movember MoMasters - Shandon
The Movember Masters is a nationwide golf series of three-person team, Ambrose format, golf tournaments with a focus on fast play, fun and of course spending some quality time on the course with some fellow men's health supporters.
This tournament is part of the Movember Masters National Golf Series that aims to provide each golfer with a unique experience, including two cups on each green, the Mo Pro Zone where golfers take on the pro to win it all and the Speights Shootout.
As well as unique on course activities, this event will be scored on VPAR, the golf scoring app that provides teams with a live leaderboard and the ability to track your position against the field, as well as track your mates in the field as the tournament progresses.
The winning team of each Movember Masters Ambrose tournament is invited to attend the Movember Masters ‘Weekend of Champions’ held at Millbrook Resort over the first weekend of May, where your team will compete to be crowned National Champion while playing two rounds of golf and staying at one of the top golf resorts in the country.
Check in is open from 11am, briefing time 12.00pm ready for a shotgun start at 12:30pm.

Shandon Golf Club
Founded in 1927, Shandon provides an excellent test for all golfers. It has played host to a number of national tournaments and is conveniently located in Petone, just a ten minute drive from central Wellington. It's close proximity to the coast means the course maintains excellent playability throughout the year.
The course is a challenging par 70 for men and 73 for women. It has a well earned reputation for superb greens, tree lined fairways and immaculate presentation.
Shandon boasts a welcoming and thriving club environment. There are a number of men’s and women’s playing groups available on numerous days of the week. Shandon also has strong and competitive Interclub teams across multiple divisions, ideal for the more serious golfer. A number of great golfers including Matthew Lane, Mark Brown and Darae Chung, are by products of Shandon's Junior program. The Junior program includes the Junior Academy and Schools program and is suitable for younger golfers of all ages and abilities.
A fully equipped pro shop, club and cart hire and excellent on course practice facilities ensure an excellent golfing experience while in the clubhouse, on site caterers and two lounges provide the ideal way to relax after your round.
