NZ Golf has come up with this great concept Make Time, Play 9.

There are two fantastic trips to be won. Every time you play 9 holes and it is entered into Dotgolf, gives you a chance to win, so the more you play the more chances you have. T&Cs apply.

We are running this event along side our She Loves Golf event, so bring your partners and they can get some coaching tips and play a few holes for $5 then meet up in the clubhouse afterwards.

Hororata Golf Club

Hororata Golf Club is among the most picturesque clubs in Canterbury. Set on two levels of river flats with streams winding through the course, it is an enjoyable test of golf. The club’s 18 hole course is situated in the small rural town of Glentunnel, some 35 minutes West of Christchurch. Green fee players are welcome and are $30.

The Club has a Cafe' called the Willows Cafe', it is situated in the main Club house where you can sit and enjoy a coffee while enjoying looking out over the very picturesque course.

Course Features

The course is set across river terraces of the Selwyn River.

From the white tees it measures 5617 metres and from the yellow tees it measures 5005 metres for a Par 71.

There are picturesque plantings of strategically placed trees and a creek bisects 6 holes.

Target greens test the accuracy of even the best golfer and the hole lengths make for a pleasant experience for those less proficient.
