Learn and Play Golf Programme

Futures All Abilities is a golf programme, especially for young people (aged under 18) with a physical or sensory disability who are looking to build their confidence, learn new skills and meet some awesome friends. These sessions are fully inclusive, so regardless of whether you have tried golf before or are new to the game, our friendly coach is here to help. Come and play heaps of games and have a lot of fun! All equipment is provided.

Located in Burnside just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Christchurch, Russley Golf Club is a relaxing escape from the stress and demands of the day to day grind. Established in 1928 the club has a history of hosting major national tournaments including the 2017 Men’s and Women’s NZ Amateur Championships.
Offering a diverse and inclusive environment, Russley welcomes you to come and experience a game of golf at the sheltered, picturesque Russley course. Visitors are welcome 6 days a week (Monday to Friday and Sunday). If you are visiting alone, please let us know and we will do our best to pair you up with some friendly playing partners to make your day a little more enjoyable.

Course Features

The challenging 18 hole championship course offers a very special experience for players of all abilities. The course is an interesting challenge, not overly long in distance however a strategic approach and club selection always wins at Russley. The course has hosted many large Amateur and Professional events and we pride ourselves on first class course conditions all year round.
