Omanu Golf Club
Omanu Golf Club's name was inspired by the presence of numerous elegant heron on the course, which is symbolised in the Club's logo.
In just 50 years Omanu has transformed itself into the largest Club in New Zealand outside the metropolitan centre's. Membership options are numerous from Junior to Senior, from casual to competitive. We welcome casual green fee players who have easy access to the course with a one tee through the holiday period.
The course has been developed from bare farmland into one of the finest club courses in the country. It is well suited to players of all levels of ability, providing a challenge to the skilled and encouragement to the not so skilled. Its 18 holes offer a pleasant and easy walk over gently rolling terrain. Well defined irrigated fairways lead to high quality greens that are even paced and true.
The Club has built modern lounge facilities which members enjoy at the "Friendliest Club in the Bay". Coupled with a fully stocked Pro Shop and Cafeteria the Club offers the complete package. For those inclined members also enjoy the best practice facilities to fine tune your game.
